We have three of the longest existing guide services in Central Oregon providing professional guiding for the world-renowned Lower Deschutes River. We offer single and multi day float
trips for Trout and Steelhead. Not only can your guides help you with your cast and put you on the fish, but will provide a comfortable camp, great food and the knowledge of flora and fauna of the river to make your trip a memorable one.
We also have full or half day guided fishing trips and on the water fly fishing schools available on other local rivers and private waters for Bass & Trout.
If it’s the High Cascade Lakes you want to fish, we have guides in the area that will be fishing the lakes that provide the best fly fishing, depending on the time of year.
The Patient Angler also offers fly fishing instruction for the beginner just getting started or for the advanced angler just wanting to sharpen your skills before a guided float trip down the river. All instruction is available privately or in small groups. We offer our services by the hour or full day instructional courses on the water, catching & releasing fish.

If your looking for steelhead, the John Day has still been kicking out a few fish when the water levels have been good.
A few good reports have come in for steelhead on the Hood River, as well as the Sandy River near Portland.
The Crooked River has been fishing very well with BWO's and small Beatis nymphs.
The Fall River has also been very good fishing with BWO's and Midge Patterns. Remember to fish above the Fall River Falls.
